Dear Students, Parents and Guardians:
Welcome back to Trenton Middle School for the 2021-2022 School Year!
I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable summer and is looking forward to another exciting year at Trenton Middle School. I am looking forward to meeting all of the students and parents of Trenton Middle and I am confident that we can make it a fun and successful year! With restrictions opening up this school year will look different, better, than those in the past. We will once again be able to move within the school, use the cafeteria, and open our doors once again to outside groups and teams, as well as being able to offer our our school teams and clubs.
We have a number of changes in the staff of Trenton Middle School. I would like to welcome: Tracy Murray - Grade 5, Laura Irvin - 5-6 French, and Julia Henderson - SEL, to our staff. We would also like to welcome back Beth Cyr - 7 ELA and 7-8 French, and Donnie Grant - 7-8 Math and Science.
Trenton Middle School will be continuing to work together as a learning community to explore new ideas and initiatives to improve student achievement and have established a school advisory council open to parents and community members to provide input on school programs and procedures. This council meets once a month. If you would like to be part of our school advisory council, please contact the school for further details.
Lastly we would like to extend a special welcome to our Grade 5 students from Trenton Elementary and students who will be attending TMS for the first time. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all students, staff, school volunteers, the school community and the SAC a great school year. We will continue to challenge each other to be the best we can be.
Matthew Clarke, Principal
